We are delighted to invite you to the II International Symposium on Apricot and Plum, to be held in Murcia, Spain, from May 3 to 7, 2027.
The symposium is organized by the Fruit Breeding Group of CEBAS-CSIC under the auspices of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS).
This event will bring together researchers, professionals, and experts from around the world to share the latest advances in the genetics, breeding, and cultivation of apricot and plum species, and to foster international collaboration.
The Region of Murcia is one of the main stone fruit production areas in the world, notable for its extra-early varieties and its technologically advanced and innovative production sector.
Murcia is a welcoming, friendly city on the Mediterranean arc, enjoying over 300 days of sunshine a year. It has a rich historical and cultural heritage and is known throughout Spain for its gastronomy. All of this makes Murcia a highly appealing destination for visitors.
